Obituary of Peter Facio
In Loving Memory of Pedro "Peter" Ignacio Facio
November 22, 1946 – July 19, 2025
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Pedro "Peter" Ignacio Facio, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, who left this world on July 19, 2025, at the age of 78.
Born on November 22, 1946, Peter embodied courage, compassion, and a joyful spirit. A proud Vietnam War veteran, he served his country with honor from June 1967 to August 1970, earning the Purple Heart for his bravery and sacrifice.
Peter was known for his spontaneous nature, generous heart, and fun-loving personality. His silly, off-beat antics brought laughter to every room-whether it was jumping into a pool fully clothed, accidentally singing his facial hair with a propane grill, pretending to speak different languages, or playing the "harmonica" for friends and family. He had a knack for turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories.
He is survived by his three children: Lance Facio, Rosalind Facio, and Lynnette Facio Vidales; eight grandchildren: Valerie Facio, Gelya Facio Cintron, Priscilla Flores, Eliza Flores, Salvador Flores, Gian Martinez, Vianna Villasana, and Ianna Vidales; and three great-grandchildren: Mila Cintron, Jayda Oberman, and Izaiah Villasana.
Peter also leaves behind four devoted sisters: Blanche Arreola, Yvonne Facio Fanter, Donna Semmere, and Denise Facio Armijo, who will forever cherish his memory.
