Ruben Edward Lara, 75, entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. He is preceded in death by his Wife; Martha Lara, Parents; Octavio and Esther Lara, Brother; Frank Lara, Sister; Beatriz Madrid. Ruben is survived by his Daughter; Ruth Lara, Sons; Joel E. Lara, Benjamin A. Lara, Jeremiah L. Lara, Samuel E. Lara. Also leaving behind Brother; Richard Lara and 5 loving grandchildren to cherish his memory. A Gathering will be held at 11:30 AM with a Memorial Service following at 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday February 17, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes, 750 N. Carolina, El Paso, Texas. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes- Americas.
